Bali Zoo

Bali Zoo is home to more than 500 individual animals representing 70 species native to Indonesia, including all types of birds, reptiles and mammals. Some of the many animal species you can see at the zoo include lions, tigers, crocodiles, otters, gibbons, cockatoos, deer, elephants and orangutans! There are also various kinds of tropical plants that grow in this fertile land. Enjoy observing Indonesia’s diverse flora and fauna as you stroll along shaded paths and participate in some of the interactive experiences at the zoo. A visit to Bali Zoo also helps support the conservation efforts taking place here. The zoo has an excellent breeding and release program for endangered species which earned it the Best Conservation and Recreation Institution award from the Indonesian government in 2017.
