Kintamani

Kintamani is not only known as an area shrouded in fog. Nor is it about the charm of the lake, which is the largest in Bali and a water source for agricultural land in the north of the Island of the Gods. Bali, as the main destination for world-class tourism, does not only tell about the beauty of the beaches and green nature as well as the charming views of terraced rice fields which are of interest to foreign tourists. The island covering an area of ​​5,780 square kilometers not only collects various works of art and culture of high value. However, Bali also has mountainous areas with cool climates at an altitude of 1,200-1,900 meters above sea level which are no less stunning. Its name is Kintamani, a sub-district covering an area of ​​366.92 km2 in Bangli, the only district that does not have a beach or sea. The location is around 60 km from Denpasar city center or 1.5 hours by road. Kintamani is inhabited by almost 100 thousand people whose livelihoods are farmers, tourism services and civil servants (PNS). Not only is it known for its endemic animal in the form of the Kintamani dog, the area north of the Island of the Gods also has an interesting history.
